Just a quick update…

Work is going well, I was told today that I was 100% compliant… So I am well chuffed.

Just have to remember to keep my head down and keep on doing the do…. 🙂

Za Za Bazaar

The Gents Club visited this establishment last night.  Food was mediocre and beers were bloody expensive, 5 beers £17.00!!!  It was busy and we had to queue as soon as we got there we also were not shown or told anything about the restaurant.  Yes I know its an all you can eat but just a bit of info or direction when we got there would have been nice.

Anyway, we had a voucher for buy one get one free.  When I booked I called and told them we had a voucher and confirmed the meals would be on BOGOF and agreed that 2 would be free.  However the truth was it was buy 4 get one free.

Absolute joke.

So we complained and was told basically to jog on.  So I decided to write the email below –

I would just like to say I am so disappointed with our visit last night. There were 5 of us and we had a voucher to say it was buy one get one free, however when we came to pay we were then told it was one free per table. When we complained we were told “the management can change their mind if they want” a great bit of customer service.

We ended up having to pay even though we were not told about the deal. To make things worse we all were off work due to a food related illness.

I had heard good and bad reviews and thought it is worth a try. We will not be coming again and you can rest assured we will not be recommending the restaurant to anyone. Please note there are 5 of us each telling minimum of 7 people about our visit, so that will mean 35 people will be told about our experience.

So I will leave this with you to deal with as you see fit and look forward to hearing from you.

I definitely ruined the night though and to make things worse we were sick….. Not cool.

So my recommendation is to find another all you can eat.

5 Days To Go…….

Until –

I am not doing anything special, which is annoying as I would ilk to go out.  However a nice home cooked meal will be brilliant.

England play Ireland in the 6 Nations at Twickenham so that should be good, especially on St Patricks Day.  On the subject of Rugby, England beat France last night.  It was a great 30 minutes of play from England in the first half then as the match went on there was just way too many mistakes, but luckily they kept ahead.  I think if they make the same mistakes in the match on Saturday then Ireland will make them pay.

Training at work is going well, lovely people in the training and also lovely trainers, which makes all the difference.  All is going well and I am really enjoying it.  Hopefully I pass the final tests and get signed off.

Anyway time to watch Friday Night Lights.

Finally Have A Chance To Post.

It’s Saturday and I finally have a chance to update my blog.  I have been so tired and busy this past week that I think I have neglected posting.

I have started my new job, this was on Monday and so far so good!  It has been a lot to take in with it being a new place, new systems, new people and well pretty much everything is new.  The people in the training with me are lovely, so I am pleased that (so far) I am not working with any twats.  In my new role I will be dealing mainly with Motorcycles but will more than likely incorporate cars too.  It takes me 10-15 minutes to get to work which is a bargain and currently the hours are good.  I did work out though, that I would work an extra 30 minutes and get a full 1 hour lunch, this is great as I used to get 30 minutes in my last role.  I also noticed that even with the longer lunch I will still get home around the same time as I would if I was in my last job, which is about 5:45.  Overall good job and looking forward to showing what I am capable of!!!

More interesting developments which I have not mentioned are –

I have only watched a few of these, mainly because I have been so tired and not in the mood to watch TV or films.  I have however, as I am on the subject, managed to get the F1 channel on SKY.  Its immense and I am looking forward to catching the first race of the season at 6am on the 18th March.  If anyone is interested in what I have, here is the DVD List.
