Would You Bloody Believe it…..????

Ok so I have to have a rant about this one today…..

I answered a call today and the guy on the phone asked if he could have 2 policies on 1 bike.  So I explained no, this is due to the person who does not own the bike having no financial interest if a loss is suffered.  He kept talking to his dad and relaying the explanation I was giving him (one thing I hate….) I confirmed he would have to cancel his policy as his dad now owns the vehicle, this made sense as well as his dads policy was cheaper.  Suddenly the dad came on the phone ranting and raving at me, I politely requested he calmed down so I could explain but he was off, there was no stopping him……

So I let him release his demons and tried to explain again.  That was it off he went again, he complained about someone on the sales team telling him he was too old to be on his sons policy. I have never heard so much horse shit.  So I asked him to calm down so I could talk and he shouted at me saying DON’T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN amongst other things…..

Then promptly ended the call saying

“Fuck Off you Cunt”

WOW……

So there is me sitting there shocked at what I have just heard out of a 51 year old (who should know better) mans mouth.

So I have a quick tea break and carried on like a trooper.

I did however check his policy to see if he called back and would you believe it he did.

He also had the audacity to complain about me…..

Unbelieveable!!!!

However what everyone needs to remember and keep in mind when talking to anyone is customer services is:-

WE HAVE ALL YOUR DETAILS…… DON’T FUCK WITH US!!!!

Drive Belt On….. Pt2

Jackpot, the drive belt is now fitted.  It took me ages yesterday and nothing, today it took 30 mins and fitted… Now the bike does top one 70+.

This all cost me £35.00 which is not the best but hey it needs to be done.  So its bank holiday weekend, I have nothing planned at all, I may go out again tomorrow but not sure where.

Its all dependent on what the missus wants to do I suppose.

Anyway I’m off to finish watching Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines.

Drive Belt Purchase…. Pt1

Today I nipped to Fowlers to get arrive belt which, I have had trouble fitting….. Aggghhhh

I also popped into the garage and had a test done on the scooter, various issues but hopefully easy to resolve…. Whooop….

Just Another Wednesday.

What a day I had today, busy does not even come close. Kelly said I can get help tomorrow which is great shame it has come 2 months too late, now that I am getting up together again. I am really looking forward to the weekend too, cannot come soon enough, problem is if it contains arguments? I have to go down to the bike tuners on Saturday so they can give me the run down on what I can do to the bike. Really looking forward to that as I get to go out and ride on my own, just shame it isn’t a bigger bike.

I have also decided to do a blog per day, well at least try. Even if it just consists of a picture and a comment.

Life, Loves and Motorbikes.

Wow, it has been a while since my last post and this feels like I am confessing my sins, which are considerable.

I have been doing lots of hours at work so I have been tired hence the lack of posting.  I think it is beneficial as I had my appraisal last week and managed a GW rating which basically is Good Work.  I was hoping I would get a better rating but considering the management I am happy.  I will say though, none of my own comments were taken into account during the process but I don’t expect anything less from TAM.

Noah is growing up so quickly, he is talking loads and knows what he wants.  He is at the age of 2 and a bit though so he can be a handful and to be completely honest, my patience does not last.  I do have an issue with anger management which I am trying to resolve as I want to be the best dad I can be.  This is very difficult with the misses being a nightmare and not helping the issue at all.

My bike is doing well, its up and running and I am using it to go to work so I am happy.  Mainly because I do not need to sit in a car with Diane and hear her moan about everything as I have my own issues to deal with.  It does need a full service and oil change, which I will pay to have done. as I am worried I screw it up.  I am going to change the belt because its been sitting around for a few years and I think its only common sense to change it.  The panels need to be sprayed and now that I have a new fairing and mud guard we are good to go.

Apple are releasing the iPhone 5 soon and lucky for me my contract is due for renewal at the same time so BOOM I am getting a iPhone 5…… WATCH THIS SPACE…….

Anyway, Torchwood is on and well I am addicted…..
