Time Off!!

Well this is much needed, its only been a month since my last holiday from work.  Not that I don’t like work, its just juggling my life can take it out of me.  I have to please so many people all the time and as you can expect it gets tiring!!

So time off it is! I have just finished a 10 day run of work with one day off, so I get my lieu day today and  booked off tomorrow so I get a nice 4 day break. Good times.

So just a few things that have been going on with me recently!!! In no particular order….

• Got me some Tassimo pods, Carte Noir Cappuccino and the Crema Intenso. Both amazing!
• I went up the Mall with my lad and had a Nandos! He isn’t a fan.
• Watching The Impossible today!
• Found a moth in my lettuce.
• Watched Pitch Perfect AGAIN! Love it….
• Took the boy to Starbucks and he had a mini warm milk… He is a fan!
• I have the Spider-Man #700 comic! Geek me up!

So thats the general gist of what has been going on.

After a tough 6 months things are starting to look up, I have sorted some issues and I can now concentrate on me and my life.  I am seeing more of my friends, some of which I have neglected and getting out and doing my own thing.  I do miss my lad on a daily basis and would like him to be with me more, so that is my next plan of action.

What A Load Of Balls

At the moment, my life is hectic, stressful and tiring…. I just can’t seem to get to grips with it.  This has all stemmed from becoming single!  I think that it will sort itself out and more than likely get a hell of a lot better.  I have to focus on me now, change for the better and not allow myself to make the same mistakes as I have previously.  I don’t really want to be single until I die!!

I do get to see the little man lots which is good but obviously its not the same as being able to see him all the time.  Also I don’t get to see him before he goes to bed and when he wakes up.. Crap, but I suppose I need to get used to it, I know that its not going to be easy though.  I never thought I would miss something or someone as much as I do him….

I have had 4 days off work and its brilliant, much needed rest-bite.  I went out with NJ on Monday for about 3 hours, fed some ducks and watched some rats.  So all in all it was a good day as I felt tired when I got home and felt energised too.  Back to work tomorrow though for one day! All because some twat booked only Fridays off. Never mind I have a few more days booked off, I just need to save my pennies so I can do something on the days off!

I am thinking on getting a bicycle too so I can get to work as the bike is out of commission and also for fitness.  I want to keep on top of this loosing weight business, I think the best diet is not having much money so you have to buy cheaper things, or have smaller portions!  So far so good though.

I did this today, really easy but it looks good…..

 

Anyway on that note I am off, time to try and relax some more.

WordPress Feeling Neglected…. I’m Sorry….

So I am in my new job for about 3 months now, all going well just a bit boring.  But to be honest I think I prefer it, less stress and also travel is 20 mins per day.

We went to Dublin last weekend, it was amazing and really nice just to chill with Cat and get some quality time together.  We even held hands….. OMG…. ha ha.  NJ stayed with both grandparents in Bristol and loved it, that we know of.  We didn’t get to do much in Dublin but I have to say I don’t care, it was nice and relaxing.  Plus I spent it with the most amazing woman ever……

We will be going back…..

Anyway this is just a mini update and I will try and post more…..

Gents Club On Tour.

On the 22nd April I we all went to Torquay on a Gents Club Tour.

Now I agree its not he best place to go but for ease and cheapness it was a perfect first annual Gents Club Tour. We stayed in a Premier Inn and it was lush, Joe and I shared a room and it was mahoosive, Kevin and Simon shared the other. Thank goodness it wasn’t adjoining as I don’t know what K-Zee would do…. ha ha

Amazing Breakfast

We arrived at Torquay at about 11am and had a quick wonder around and of course the most important meal of the day BREAKFAST…. Yummm!   This breakfast was from Wetherspoons (for those who know Torquay it used to be Bar Med) called the Green Ginger or something like that, it was £4.10 and worth every penny.

After the fat breakfast, we went for a walk around the harbour which was nice as it was quiet and peaceful (yes I am old)….  Kev even saw his missus!!!!!

We then proceeded back to the hotel as the sun was shining and we fancied a beer in the garden.  As you can see from the picture it was like living the dream!

Living The Dream

We all put some cash into a kitty and started drinking, now we are used to Bristol prices which are steep so we were well chuffed as it was just over £11 for 4 pints…… CHEAP!

Princess Diaries 2

We stayed in the sun having a beer for a few hours, then checked in.  Kev the old git went for a nap…. and the rest of us just chilled in the room and watched The Princess Diaries 2…… ha ha This is how we roll!!!  It was Joe really, his choice as he has a thing for Hathaway…..

Anyway we headed out about 6pm and went to another Spoons, which was a great place to talk, watch the news and see Bristol in the limelight for some idiots in Stokes Croft… causing shit and smashing up a Tescos…..

To be honest, after the spoons and our Pizza Express I really can’t remember much apart from listening to a shit DJ and walking back along the front, really slowly… ha ha

I will have to start saving for the next outing as I really enjoyed the night out with the guys, great bunch of lads.

Right time to enjoy the rest of my 11 days off!!!
