Drive Belt On….. Pt2

Jackpot, the drive belt is now fitted.  It took me ages yesterday and nothing, today it took 30 mins and fitted… Now the bike does top one 70+.

This all cost me £35.00 which is not the best but hey it needs to be done.  So its bank holiday weekend, I have nothing planned at all, I may go out again tomorrow but not sure where.

Its all dependent on what the missus wants to do I suppose.

Anyway I’m off to finish watching Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines.

Drive Belt Purchase…. Pt1

Today I nipped to Fowlers to get arrive belt which, I have had trouble fitting….. Aggghhhh

I also popped into the garage and had a test done on the scooter, various issues but hopefully easy to resolve…. Whooop….

Just Another Wednesday.

What a day I had today, busy does not even come close. Kelly said I can get help tomorrow which is great shame it has come 2 months too late, now that I am getting up together again. I am really looking forward to the weekend too, cannot come soon enough, problem is if it contains arguments? I have to go down to the bike tuners on Saturday so they can give me the run down on what I can do to the bike. Really looking forward to that as I get to go out and ride on my own, just shame it isn’t a bigger bike.

I have also decided to do a blog per day, well at least try. Even if it just consists of a picture and a comment.

Gilera DNA 125cc – Update #6

Since my last post the weather has been supper duper shit!  So no work at all done on the bike apart from putting the front brake calliper on and getting that ready.  I have a stack of parts due to be fitted and 5 days holiday booked over 2 weeks, so plenty of time to sort it out.  Here is hoping the weather holds out long enough for me to sort it.

I do however need to get some black paint, and primer and glossy coat so that its shiny shiny….. Then I just have to re paint some of the parts….

Bargain of the year had to be a R/h fairing for 99p….. Hell yeah!

Anyway, when the weather gets better I will post some pictures…. Until then you will have to do without.

Gilera DNA 125cc – Update #5

I received the front headlights and fairing today…. finally, however the cheeky twat on ebay sent it 1st class recorded on the 11th not the 4th like he said.  Also it was missing the brackets and indicators…. so totally not as described.  So yet another complaint opened via ebay.  I hate doing that but if I was to sell that I would get a complaint.

Anyway its fitted and all wired up, some of the lugs have been broken so I will have to replace bits but  its all good.  Very close to being roadworthy, MOT due and then CBT and I am legal….. Whoop….
